This study aims to build an analytical educational framework for developing the teaching performance of Arabic language teachers for non-native speakers in light of educational quality standards, starting from analyzing the current reality of teaching practices and identifying the professional standards necessary to enhance teacher competence. The study relies on the descriptive-analytical method to reveal the level of teaching performance in the areas of planning, implementation, assessment, professional practices, and the use of technology in the educational process.
The analysis results reveal that the level of teachers' instructional performance falls at a medium level in light of quality standards, with variations in the extent to which performance indicators are achieved across different areas, and a notable impact of the level of technological skills utilization on the effectiveness of the educational process. The results also indicate the need for an organized professional development framework that links quality standards with actual teaching practices within the educational environment.
The study proposes an integrated developmental model based on identifying professional standards for teaching performance, reorganizing planning, implementation, and evaluation processes, enhancing continuous professional practices, and integrating educational technology as a structural component of teaching performance. The study contributes to the development of educational literature in the field of preparing Arabic language teachers for non-native speakers, and provides a practical framework that can be employed in teacher preparation programs and continuous professional development.
